Become a Professional Treatment Foster Care Parent
Professional Treatment Foster Care parents are needed in Texas: Regions 1, 8 & 11 including San Antonio, Lubbock, Amarillo, Rio Grande Valley and surrounding areas.
As a Professional Treatment Foster Parent with The Bair Foundation, you will be instrumental in helping children with past hurts and trauma move towards healing, growth & permanency.
The children that we serve…
- Ages 0-17
- Have seen multiple placements
- Have resided in psychiatric hospitals or residential treatment centers
- Hurting from past trauma or emotional disorders
- Need a stable, loving adult who can take the time to care enough for healing to begin
- Short-term placements from 6-9 months
What does Bair provide?
- $137.52/night reimbursement rate which = $50,194 a year (tax free)
- Evidence-based parenting training from a committed team of experts
- Support from a professional Treatment Coordinator with a very small caseload
- Therapist with extensive experience treating children with trauma
- Wraparound services as necessary
- Respite care
- 24 hour support in the home or in the community

- Stable & nurturing home environment
- One stay at home parent
- Experience in working with children
- Willingness to learn
